The Infamous Masterson’s , positioned in the vibrant core of Moonee Ponds, markets itself as a trendy “hipster” hangout , but my most recent experience at this establishment became a nightmarish ordeal . While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I discovered behind its threshold was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .
The State of Affairs: Unhygienic and Abandoned
From the moment I walked in , it was apparent that upkeep was not a priority at this bar . The surfaces were tacky , and a overpowering stench of old alcohol and dirty bathrooms filled the entire venue . Reeking of a mixture of human waste, a rotting odor and illness .
